I Love Cookin’ bears striking stylistic similarities to the work of Basquiat, and that’s no coincidence – Spanish artist Edgar Plans finds beauty in street art and has cited the work of Basquiat as being influential to his artistry. This piece features several ‘animal heroes’ created by Plans and used throughout his artistry, many of them cooking and creating. Like Basquiat, Plans folds words into this piece to help describe the scene and bring it together.
